The A J Bell Stadium is home to top flight teams from rugby league, Salford Red Devils, and rugby union, Sale Sharks.
A visit to the Dockyards brings you into Salford historic past as part of the Manchester Ship Canal and river boat cruises can still be taken around the city to explore Salford many great features and attractions

Eccles Festival returns in 2019 with three days of Entertainment, Street Markets, Arts and Craft Fairs, Funfairs, Theatre, Music, etc etc from Friday 30th Aug till Sunday 1st September with even more community organisations taking part than before - and all this is happening in and around Eccles Centre , on Eccles Recreation Ground and in Eccles Shopping Precinct.
Our theme this year is Transport - commemorating Eccles’ long history of being at the forefront of public travel on land, water and in the air.
