Isle of Wight Distillery - The first and only distilling license has been granted to the Isle of Wight Distillery, based at Rosemary Vineyard.
Finally the Isle of Wight has its own Distillery.
The first and only distilling license has been granted to the Isle of Wight Distillery, based at Rosemary Vineyard. There are no known records or history of distilling on the Island so we are proud to make history. We use local ingredients from locations such as Steephill Cove and even handpick a number of seeds to create our range of spirits.
Our first came with the Isle of Wight Gin, called Wight Mermaids Gin, followed by Rock Sea Vodka – the first and only vodka brewed and distilled here on the Isle of Wight. We have also just launched our new range of Isle of Wight Apple Pie Moonshine, served in mini jam jars!
Our spirits are available to buy in bottles at the following Retail Stockists:
Rosemary Vineyard Ryde
Newport Ale House Shop
Rectory Mansion- Brading
Briddlesdord Lodge Farm Shop
Brownriggs Farm Shop
Vectis Tavern Cowes
St Helens Post Office
Osbourne House East Cowes
Harveys Deli Yarmouth
Wine Therapy Cowes
Cavanagh & Baker
We use hand-picked ingredients such as Rock Samphire from a secret location on the sunny south side of the Island. All the hops we use are grown on the Island too! We want our spirits to be not only fresh, but to capture the true island spirit! Our Coriander seeds are the first to be commercially grown in England.
